Very Rare Large Early Antique 1871 Engraving/Print of Niagara Falls, NY DESCRIPTION: Here is a nice, very scarce antique large engraved print. Depicts "NIAGARA FALLS, NY", in its very early days as a tourist trap. Suitable for framing. Will make a great piece and decoration in any New York home. Great depiction of the Falls and surrounding area....but still shows all the details of the area. Drawn/engraved by Harry Fenn, and S. V. Hunt. Entered by an act of Congress in 1873 by D. Appleton & Co. Large, measuring 13" x 10" overall, with matte. The print itself is 9" x 5 1/2". In excellent condition overall. Short tear on right side of mat border, BUT DOES NOT AFFECT ENGRAVING AREA AT ALL. Does not show and could also be covered by a frame or mat. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!
